Store nuts in the freezer
I use a lot of nuts in my cooking, especially cashews and walnuts. I buy big bags of them in bulk and store them in the freezer as they will last longer.
Every now and then, I take some out and put it in a bowl on the kitchen counter, and let it sit there overnight until it’s all dry again. Then I just put them in a jar with a lid and use them for my cooking. It can be for this delicious cashew sauce or something else.
